Events

We are constantly  hosting a wide variety of events ranging from music and literature to educational and community programs. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can connect, network, and build a sense of community while celebrating, empowering, and highlighting the achievements and contributions of women throughout history and today. We invite you to join us ,  all are welcome!

Youth Voting

We are passionate about closing the youth voting gap in the United States, and we work tirelessly to educate, engage, and empower young voters. We participate in community events and place special focus on milestone moments such as birthdays and graduations, where we distribute youth voter registration cards as a meaningful rite of passage. Young people have both the right and the ability to shape the world they will inherit. Our call to action is simple: let’s work together to increase youth voter participation and civic engagement.

The Arts and Culture

We are deeply committed to the arts and culture and strives to ensure that women artists are seen, heard, and appreciated through soul, jazz, and classical music. We host orchestral symphonies at the The Whittemore House, bringing people together through the power of music and shared cultural experiences. In addition, we are passionate about introducing young children to music at an early age by engaging them in orchestras, performances, and plays, including productions such as Peter and the Wolf.

Tools and Resources

Every year, National Women’s Foundation creates uniquely themed planners that highlight the stories and achievements of influential women throughout history. Many of these planners are distributed to high schools and incorporated into educational settings, helping ensure that the contributions of women continue to be recognized and that young girls see meaningful representation in their learning materials.

Beyond distribution, we also host programs and workshops that teach participants how to use the planners effectively while exploring the lives and legacies of the women featured in them. Through these initiatives, we educate high school students and community members alike about the vital role women have played in shaping history and society.
