A Chamber Ensemble from the National Symphony Orchestra

The Whittemore House is delighted to welcome three renowned musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra in a chamber ensemble concert. Please join us for this event where they will perform the works of Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, Amy Beach, Jessie Montgomery and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Violinist and violist Ricardo Cyncynates currently serves as Assistant Concertmaster of the National Symphony Orchestra, a position to which he was appointed by Mstislav Rostropovichfollowing his tenure with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Pianist Lisa Emenheiser is heralded for her intense music-making and pianism. A graduate of the Juilliard School, she has performed as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra for the past 30 years.

Clarinetist Claire Eichhorn, Artistic Director of the Ensemble da Camera of Washington, was born in Stuttgart. She has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra, Kennedy Center Orchestra, Baltimore Opera, Virginia Chamber Orchestra and the Washington Concert Opera.
